Members

The Members are akin to the shareholders of a company. They have ultimate control over the academy trust, with the ability to appoint some of the trustees and the right to amend the trust's articles of association. They are required to meet annually.

Tim Higginson

Member and Trustee

Tim has been involved with schools in Southwark for over 20 years and has worked in the public sector in south east London since 1986. He joined Lewisham Hospital in March 2008 from his role as Director of Strategy at Guy’s & St Thomas` and was appointed Chief Executive Designate of the integrated Trust in November 2012 before becoming Chief Executive of the newly formed Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust on 1st October 2013.

Paul Marray

Member

Paul has over 30 years of experience working for a wide range of organisations, which include, the film industry, advertising, print and the public sector. He currently runs a company which specialises in designing and delivering change programmes for clients. He lives and work in South London and is really excited about how schools can make a real positive difference to young people's lives, providing them with the skills and confidence to build fulfilled and exciting futures.

Adrian Sparks

Member and Trustee

Adrian has been a governor of John Donne Primary School for seven years. He has had many business roles including Station Manager Peckham Rye. Recently, he has worked with Local government delivering telecommunication services. With over eight years experience managing two successful UK startups, he wishes to use his experience to help build a solid educational platform for young Londoners enabling them to launch their chosen vocation or career.

Kevin Rose

Member

Kevin Rose is a parent governor at John Donne Primary School and chair of its Finance, Resource and Audit Committee. He has a daughter in year four and a son in year two. He has been a business and finance journalist for 20 years. He has written for national newspapers and edited trade magazines and websites. He is currently co-owner of a business to business publisher.

Alison Griffiths

Trustee

Alison has worked in Higher Education since 2004 and is current Head of Teacher Education at Goldsmiths, University of London where she oversees the Primary and Secondary Teacher Education Partnership. Prior to this she worked as a teacher and leader in Primary schools in North Wales and London.

Eileen O'Mahoney

Trustee

Eileen has worked within the IT service industry for over 20 years. She is currently the General Manager for a London-based Software Service Provider. Over the past 20 years she has worked across Europe in a variety of roles delivering consultancy services to and managing large scale and complex IT projects for numerous organisations in the public and private sectors. She regularly speaks at IT conferences and delivers presentations on the ROI of IT investments.

Paul Bridge

Trustee

Paul is a parent of three school aged children and lives in Peckham. He has held senior Roles in Housing and Local Government over the last 20 years and is currently the Chief Executive of the investment advisor to a Real Estate Investment Fund, Civitas Social Housing PLC listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. He also holds roles as a Chair of a Think Tank and the Chair of a Charitable Housing Association.

Fleur Nieboer

Trustee

Fleur is a chartered accountant and works as a partner in the Public Sector Audit department at KPMG in Canary Wharf. Fleur has a portfolio of internal and external audit clients in the healthcare, education and charity sectors. Fleur qualified in 2002 and has been working at KPMG for the past 15 years. As well as her audit experience she also specialises in providing support and advice to not for profit organisations on their risk management and governance structures. Fleur lives in South East London and is the parent of a son in year four.

Chloe McCulloch

Trustee and Chair of John Donne Governing Body

Chloe is a mother of three and has been a parent at John Donne for six years and has been a resident in the Peckham/Camberwell area of nearly 15 years. She is a managing editor at a weekly trade magazine and website, overseeing workflow across editorial and production teams. She has worked in journalism for over 15 years.
