What is School Direct?

School Direct is a school-based model of teacher training where you learn on the job.  Groups of schools work in partnership with one another and a university to offer a dynamic programme of practical learning and academic study which allows trainees to develop their skills and prepares them for their teaching career.  Trainees complete their training year having gained a PGCE and QTS, allowing them to teach in schools across the UK and around the world.
